How to reach the Beutenberg Campus

By public trans­port: From the city cen­ter, choose eit­her of the bus lines 10, 11, 12 to reach the Beu­ten­berg cam­pus.

By car: It is not easy to approach the Beu­ten­berg cam­pus by car due to the lack of public par­king lots at the cam­pus. Howe­ver, if you wish to arrive by car, use »Albert-Ein­stein-Str. 6« as major input for your GPS sys­tem.

General Terms and Conditions

1. General

These Gene­ral Terms and Con­di­ti­ons apply to par­ti­ci­pa­tion in the Ultra Pre­cis­ion Manu­fac­tu­ring of Asphe­res and Free­forms Work­shop orga­nised by Opto­Net e.V., unless other­wise agreed in wri­ting. By sub­mit­ting the regis­tra­tion form, par­ti­ci­pants accept these Terms and Con­di­ti­ons.

Devia­ting or con­flic­ting terms and con­di­ti­ons of the par­ti­ci­pant shall not apply unless expressly agreed to in wri­ting by Opto­Net e.V. Any amend­ments or sup­ple­men­tary agree­ments must be made in wri­ting.

2. Registration and Conclusion of Contract

Regis­tra­tion for the work­shop is bin­ding. A con­tract is con­cluded upon sub­mis­sion of the regis­tra­tion and con­fir­ma­tion of the regis­tra­tion by Opto­Net e.V.

3. Participation Fees

The par­ti­ci­pa­tion fees are those sta­ted on the regis­tra­tion page at the time of boo­king. All pri­ces are sub­ject to sta­tu­tory VAT where appli­ca­ble. The scope of ser­vices included in the par­ti­ci­pa­tion fee is defi­ned in the event descrip­tion.

4. Payment

Invoices are paya­ble within 14 days wit­hout deduc­tion. Opto­Net e.V. reser­ves the right to deny par­ti­ci­pa­tion if the par­ti­ci­pa­tion fee has not been paid in full before the start of the event.

5. Cancellation and Substitution

Can­cel­la­tion of regis­tra­tion is pos­si­ble free of charge until the can­cel­la­tion dead­line sta­ted on the regis­tra­tion page. After the end of the can­cel­la­tion period, the full par­ti­ci­pa­tion fee is due. Sub­sti­tute par­ti­ci­pants may be nomi­na­ted at any time.

Can­cel­la­ti­ons and sub­sti­tu­ti­ons must be noti­fied in wri­ting by e‑mail to info@optonet-jena.de.

6. Programme Changes and Cancellation of the Event

Opto­Net e.V. reser­ves the right to make reasonable chan­ges to the pro­gramme, spea­k­ers, sche­dule or venue if neces­sary.

Opto­Net e.V. also reser­ves the right to can­cel the event, par­ti­cu­larly in cases of force majeure, offi­cial orders, or insuf­fi­ci­ent par­ti­ci­pant num­bers. In such cases, par­ti­ci­pa­tion fees alre­ady paid will be refun­ded. Fur­ther claims are excluded unless lia­bi­lity is man­da­tory by law.

7. Liability

Opto­Net e.V. shall be lia­ble only for dama­ges cau­sed inten­tio­nally or by gross negli­gence, unless man­da­tory sta­tu­tory pro­vi­si­ons pro­vide other­wise. Lia­bi­lity for indi­rect dama­ges or loss of pro­fit is excluded to the ext­ent per­mit­ted by law.

8. Data Protection, Participant List and Photography

Per­so­nal data will be pro­ces­sed in accordance with OptoNet’s pri­vacy policy:

By sub­mit­ting the regis­tra­tion form, par­ti­ci­pants agree that their name may be included in a par­ti­ci­pant list made available to other atten­dees. Par­ti­ci­pants also ack­now­ledge that pho­to­graphs taken during the event may be published on Opto­Net web­sites and social media chan­nels.

9. Final Provisions

Should any pro­vi­sion of these Gene­ral Terms and Con­di­ti­ons be or become inva­lid, the vali­dity of the remai­ning pro­vi­si­ons shall remain unaf­fec­ted.

Ger­man law shall apply to the exclu­sion of the UN Con­ven­tion on Con­tracts for the Inter­na­tio­nal Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of juris­dic­tion, to the ext­ent legally per­mis­si­ble, shall be the regis­tered office of Opto­Net e.V.
