Cancellation
Cancellation of your registration is possible free of charge until August 7, 2026. After this date, the full participation fee will be charged. Substitute participants are welcome. Cancellations and transfers must be submitted in writing by e‑mail to info@optonet-jena.de.

Evening event
The evening event will take place on September 8, 2026 starting at 7:00 p.m. at the SCALA Sky Conference, JENTOWER, Leutragraben 1, 07743 Jena.
With a breathtaking view, fine food and drinks, we welcome you to our evening reception at the SCALA Sky Conference in the city center of Jena. With the photonics paradise of Jena at your feet, you have the perfect setting for further discussions.

How to reach the Beutenberg Campus
By public transport: From the city center, choose either of the bus lines 10, 11, 12 to reach the Beutenberg campus.
By car: It is not easy to approach the Beutenberg campus by car due to the lack of public parking lots at the campus. However, if you wish to arrive by car, use »Albert-Einstein-Str. 6« as major input for your GPS system.

General Terms and Conditions
1. General
These General Terms and Conditions apply to participation in the Ultra Precision Manufacturing of Aspheres and Freeforms Workshop organised by OptoNet e.V., unless otherwise agreed in writing. By submitting the registration form, participants accept these Terms and Conditions.
Deviating or conflicting terms and conditions of the participant shall not apply unless expressly agreed to in writing by OptoNet e.V. Any amendments or supplementary agreements must be made in writing.
2. Registration and Conclusion of Contract
Registration for the workshop is binding. A contract is concluded upon submission of the registration and confirmation of the registration by OptoNet e.V.
3. Participation Fees
The participation fees are those stated on the registration page at the time of booking. All prices are subject to statutory VAT where applicable. The scope of services included in the participation fee is defined in the event description.
4. Payment
Invoices are payable within 14 days without deduction. OptoNet e.V. reserves the right to deny participation if the participation fee has not been paid in full before the start of the event.
5. Cancellation and Substitution
Cancellation of registration is possible free of charge until the cancellation deadline stated on the registration page. After the end of the cancellation period, the full participation fee is due. Substitute participants may be nominated at any time.
Cancellations and substitutions must be notified in writing by e‑mail to info@optonet-jena.de.
6. Programme Changes and Cancellation of the Event
OptoNet e.V. reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the programme, speakers, schedule or venue if necessary.
OptoNet e.V. also reserves the right to cancel the event, particularly in cases of force majeure, official orders, or insufficient participant numbers. In such cases, participation fees already paid will be refunded. Further claims are excluded unless liability is mandatory by law.
7. Liability
OptoNet e.V. shall be liable only for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise. Liability for indirect damages or loss of profit is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
8. Data Protection, Participant List and Photography
Personal data will be processed in accordance with OptoNet’s privacy policy:

By submitting the registration form, participants agree that their name may be included in a participant list made available to other attendees. Participants also acknowledge that photographs taken during the event may be published on OptoNet websites and social media channels.
9. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
German law shall apply to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). The place of jurisdiction, to the extent legally permissible, shall be the registered office of OptoNet e.V.
